Matthew Giampapa
Try adapting the "Wood (Herringbone)" hatch that is included with VectorWorks. You can find the hatchs.mcd file inside the Resources folder of your VectorWorks installation. Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
Stuart Gray
Many thanks Matthew, you actually did me a favor however! Up until now every attempt at creating a hatch within the "editor" led me to give up after 10 minutes, but at long last I have perservered and just drew the hatch from scratch! Whilst writing, many thanks to all at NNA for the new and improved VW, and especially the free 3D Powerpack ! Over here in England its something you never see the other CAD companies doing, but shows just how much you appreciate your users. VW was our first stab at CAD and we have never as a company looked back! Stuart Gray (Associate)FAW Architects Northampton, England Quote Link to comment
VYA
I would be very interested in how you accomplished this hatch. When I tried, it looked fine for a tiny area, but on a larger field it became skewed. I have a terrible time creating and adjusting hatches. I really do not understand the terminology of the hatch patterns. If you are willing to share the settings for your hatch, I would be greatful. I currently use a huge field of herringbone pattern that I created with duplicate arrays & cut the shape I need. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
