Joel Riehl
Sorry - I know this is probably pretty basic - but how do I get a door to insert into a wall (make an opening) instead of just sitting on top of it? This applies by extension to other objects such as windows, plumbing fixtures, etc., but the current problem is a door. They usually do it by default, but not this time, and I can't locate where to change the setting. Appreciate your help. Quote Link to comment
taoist
In plan view Select your door click on the wall where you want to insert Move the mouse to set the direction of opening and handing (right or left) and click to set. If this is the only door you want to place press the "X" key to escape or close out the Door function. hth taoist Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
Enable your wall insertion mode in the mode bar- the "button" just to the right of the scaling mode buttons. Quote Link to comment
