Kevin McAllister
Is there a way to make Vectorworks show metric units in capitals within dimensions? "MM" instead of "mm" Thanks, Kevin Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Not using the units option. Lowercase 'mm' is the correct way to indicate millimetres with the metric system. If you want to use capitals you can use the option of adding a suffix via the OIP. Make sure you put a space or two before the 'MM'. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Thanks Mike. I didn't think there was. I was trying to match someone's drawing standards on a project.... they are working in Autocad. Kevin Quote Link to comment
PeterT
Actually, you can make any custom unit mark you want in the "Units" dialog. You do this by creating a Custom Unit. In the Units dialog, scroll down to "Custom" at the bottom of the "Units" pulldown menu. In the "Custom Units: Length" dialog, name your custom unit (perhaps "CAP Milimeters" or similar), put "MM" for the unit mark, and set the "Smaller for Larger" section to "There are 1 Units Per Millimeter", and click O.K. Set CAP Millimeters as your current unit, exit the Units dialog, and all your dimensions should now display with the unit mark MM. Quote Link to comment
