Atchison
Is there a way to join or convert two lengths of wall, drawn end to end, into one wall? Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
I usually stretch one wall and delete the other. I know that line segments can be composed into a single poly in this manner. It would be great if several walls can similarly be composed into one wall, but their single line properties (end caps, direction, etc.) seem to prohibit this. Quote Link to comment
Atchison
I have also done that Bob but the problem is that any windows and doors in the deleted wall also disappear when the wall is deleted. Quote Link to comment
bcd
One option it to select all the windows & doors from one wall and pull them all out together. Delete the offending wall. rather than stretching the remaining wall use the Wall Join tool to reconnect the corner, If there is no corner you can extend the wall length in the OIP; (this ensures correct alignment for out of square walls and remakes the corner) Then select the floating windows & doors pull them back in. They will all insert beautifully as expected. Quote Link to comment
Barry_Williams
In 2011 you can do an L-join on two alingned walls. I haven't tested it much but it certainly works well with two identical walls Quote Link to comment

And joining walls is easy to do with Join menu command, also used for lines. Quote Link to comment
