austins
Is there a way to add a customized color palette to the Default list (C:\Program Files\Vectorworks2011\Libraries\Defaults\Color Palettes)? Ideally, I would want an office standard palette available in the same way as the Pantones, etc are, without it being part of the "active document". Thank You, Austin Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
When I create a new color palette, it gets saved in my users defaults and can then be accessed like any other color palette. It is an XML file. To make this accessible by other users, you should be able to put it in the Group preferences file or copy it to the users machine and store in their user defaults. You could store it with the others in the path you listed above, but there is a probability that it would get deleted the next time NV issues an update. Let me know if you need more information. austins
Thank you, Pat. I found them per your suggestion in the user defaults(C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Nemetschek\VectorWorks\2011\Libraries\Defaults\Color Palettes). Best, Austin Quote Link to comment
