Light Producing Texture - 2010

Hey all,

Is it possible to have a texture emitting light in 2010? 2011 even?

I believe at some stage I've seen it done on 2011 but I'm not sure.

Just wanting to make some illuminated cubes.

Yes - the guide mentioned above will talk you through it - but essentially you need to make your texture's Reflectivity shader set to Glow.

Just re-read your post! Glow textures are only available in Vectorworks 2011! The closest equivalent in 2010 is the Constant Reflectivity shader, but it's not as "glowy" as Glow.

Or, you could turn your cube into Area Lights.
