CAD_Boy
Can some one please tell my why in 2011 I have to create massive selection boxes around instruments to select them now. Please all help appreciated. Quote Link to comment
Elite Exhibits
I have noticed that some Symbols (those with lights as part of them) need to be "Edited" - Nothing changes, simply select them in the Res Browser and say Edit. Then Exit right away. The bounding box is now back to a better size. (This is also a Bug with groups inside of Symbols) - Peter Quote Link to comment
CAD_Boy
I'm trying it on truss symbols, even those from Vectoworks, and it happens to anything I make an instrument. Quote Link to comment
Proudlight
I have the same issues with selecting truss... This makes me do all trussplots in 2010, then use 2011 for the rest, or just stay with 2010 if I know I'm gonna be moving stuff around a lot. Really sorry about this one, as this means I have to keep changing file types all the time. So please nemetcheck, fix it! Best regards/ Bj?rn Stolt VW 2010+2011 Macbook pro Quote Link to comment
AndiACD
I found this too. Everything seem to get the "BoundingBox" treatment even if selection hint show up as just the contours. Fix it please guys. Quote Link to comment
ChadL
If you hold Alt while drawing your selection box, it will select everything that you touch. I've found this very useful. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Could those instruments contain a mix of layer plane and screen plane objects? I just made a group with one object in layer plane and another object in screen plane. The object boundary/extent size & shape is dependent on view and plane mode - sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller. -B Quote Link to comment
NeenahTD
If you hold Alt while drawing your selection box, it will select everything that you touch. I've found this very useful. I'm not sure what the problem is, but this is a GREAT work around. Thanks ChadL, you kept me from throwing my computer Edited June 28, 2011 by NeenahTD Quote Link to comment
