Kurt Magness
When I use a apple mouse or my wacom tablet clicking on the scroll wheel temporarily brings up the pan tool. Very nice ! I have gotten real fond of this. But When I try to get this same function on a kensington or logitech mouse I cannot figure how to program the mouse using their system preference control panels. If I do not install their system pref software their mice work as a apple mouse, but that causes vwks to freeze. And my walcom tablet seems to have started to cause problems with vwks too even though I have updated their latest sys pref software. Any ideas? mac os 10.5.8 vwks 2010 & 2011 Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
I think a solution is to give the pan tool a keyboard combination shortcut and program the mouse button to have the same keyboard comination. Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
Also, an old standby from the old MiniCad days, when Macs only had the one button mouse, still works today. Just hold down the spacebar, and there's the Pan hand! So a mouse button can perhaps be mapped to the spacebar. Quote Link to comment
