bcd
I'm trying to patch some holes that I previously created in a Nurbs Surface using the Project>Split tool followed by Delete but with no success. Is there a trick/secret, I was hoping for something along the lines of Add Surface but no luck there. Is it a case of once split/delete there's no going back? I'll try convert to mesh - not sure that's going to help... Any ideas? Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Should work with either Add Solids and Compose. Quote Link to comment
bcd
Thanks Michael, Except I'm missing the plugs to add to the surface. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
If you use the Extract Tool (edges mode) you can get the edge then Create Surface from Curves will give you a plug. It won't have any surface curvature of course, but if you Rebuild NURBS after composing you might get something workable. Quote Link to comment
bcd
Yaah! I Found It!!! In the OIP the Untrim Button reverts the Nurbs Surface to larger continuous surface without holes. To trim it back to its perimeter shape: Convert copy to lines 3rd mode of polygon tool to create polygon 1st mode of the Project Tool Select the perimeter polygon Select the untrimmed Nurbs Surface thanks for all the suggestions.
