dave sec
hi! when i annotate a drawing with a breakline (which i do on a sheet layer), is there an easy way to have everything after the breakline disappear? thanks! Quote Link to comment
Itchy
Not with the standard tool, create a custom symbol and then use interactive scaling if you need to change the size, just keep it symmetrical though. I have attached my one (vw2011), i prefer the squiggly line rather than the standard. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted May 12, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 12, 2011 I created a free plug-in object for this. Here's the description from the website: Break Poly Plug-in Object for Vectorworks ?2010 Matthew Panzer - PanzerCAD Services, Inc. This Plug-in Object creates a polygon with break symbols along each visible segment. This allows it to have a white fill to mask out objects below and allows different configurations (ie: two or more break line segments with a white masking fill between). The visibility of each segment is set via the 2D Reshape tool in "Hide / Show Edges Mode". NOTE: At this time, only the "Straight" breakline type is available in the plug-in. Kizza
Sorry for the noob question but I assume you drop it into the Plug-Ins folder? Is the tool then accessible under the Annotations toolset? Quote Link to comment
mar schrammeyer
you'll have to add it to your workspace through workspace editor Quote Link to comment
