grant_PD
I swear this was here in 2010. Now when I go to image mask under transparency for a texture, it's not an option. Unless I'm mistaken. This needs to be back! Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Grant It's there. Transparency > Edit > Image Mask > This Image's Color blah blah blah hth mk Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Yeah, but it's not the same. That's for color knockouts. What if you have a gradient alpha channel, or something with a lot of fine details. I'd rather create that in photoshop than tweak a dialog box in VW. And it DOES import an alpha channel if you make an image prop. It just doesn't any other way. Quote Link to comment
Teresa Hull
Grant, I think I ran into this confusion a little while ago myself. I feel like an image prop will bring in the alpha channel, but a texture will not. Perhaps a Wish List item? Quote Link to comment
