Monadnoc
I have the same problem. And I have for years. No matter how I enter something in the Forum search box, it returns tons of posts that don't apply to my problem. I've tried entering words with and without quotes, with and without "+" between words, single words, but nothing works. I've pretty much given up on searching the Forum. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Quote Link to comment
jmh
It helps to do an advanced search where you select the VW Version you have and specify a date range ie: posts within 1 year. Otherwise, I agree. The support I've received on this forum is so great, but the format is out-dated and too time consuming to search. An example of a really impressive forum is this one: http://forums.luxology.com/discussion/ j Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Another way to search that is sometimes easier is to use google (or probably any other search engine. With google you can enter search like +Stanford +script +PIO Site:techboard.vectorworks.net Doing the first part of the search in the Advanced Search screen of the forum returns 67 hits. Running it through Google get's 6. Quote Link to comment
