DWG Import crashes VW2011

Recently, I have been having a lot of problems with VW 2011 crashing. Seems to coincide with update to Snow Leopard 10.6.7, but not sure. For example, when I import dwg files (downloaded from Jeld-Wen Windows), once the import of the file is completed, all I have to do is "select all" and VW crashes.

The same dwg files imported into VW2010 work fine.

Any suggestions?

We have updated from v2010 to v2011, run Macs on system 10.6.7, have installed vw SP3 and find that importing dwg files has become very difficult if not impossible with beach ball appearing 2/3 way through import. If you leave the computer overnight, it will import the file eventually but when you try and save, VW crashes out.

Now if we import the same dwg file into v2010, it works fine. Now you explain that ! Needless to say I am having to make a lot of coffee while waiting......someone else out there must be having the same kind of problems.

ACR not a problem I've come across. Whilst you are waiting for an answer can you please bug submit the problem to Computers Unlimited so they can look at it and log it into the system. Include the DWG files that are giving you the problem.
