Jay_dHKa Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 I'm having a problem tagging the walls, is VW2011 capable of smart tagging a wall? I have multiple wall styles created and drawn, and would like a smart tag that picks up the wall style name (ie: W1, W2, P1, P2...), but have not been able to figure this out. Intuitively, I assume it is capable. Why wouldn't it be. Right? Please help! Quote Link to comment

Here's what I found for what I understand you are looking for: For the particular styled wall in your resource browser... right click on it and edit... click on the 'Data' tab... type in the label you wish to give the wall in the 'Mark' field (eg. W1, W2, ...)... save these settings by clicking 'OK' when prompted (and replace walls)... once this is done for all of the styled walls, use the 'ID Label Tool' in 'Dims/Notes' tool set... click 1st on an open space (where you want the label), and then 2nd click on the (styled) wall... you SHOULD now have a label for that particular wall with an 'ID' showing the wall style...
