carefulsmelly
When creating a wall is there a way of having each material/element globally related. For example - say Wall Style A: 12.5mm Plasterboard 70mm Timber Stud 12.5mm Plasterboard And Wall Style B: 12.5mm Plasterboard 12.5mm Plasterboard 70mm Timber Stud 12.5mm Plasterboard 12.5mm Plasterboard Now, is there a method whereby the plasterboard in each wall type can be globally managed as they are the same maerial? Or are wall elements scope limited to the wall they are within? Sorry if this seems vague! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Not exactly sure what you mean "globally managed". If you are asking about graphics (ie: all wall board has the same line weight, fill, etc. as all other wallboard) then you should look into using Classes for these materials. Hope that helps. carefulsmelly
Yeah, sorry not the clearest of questions. What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to have a material library so that when I create wall styles I can simply select the materials (width as well as graphics) from a library rather than having to generate them each and every time. Is that any clearer? Edited March 27, 2011 by mgj Quote Link to comment
