Davide
Greeting, sometimes, luckily more not then yes, when we spool a VW Architect 9.5 file to the plotters (HP DesignJet 1055 CM) we get this message: "A required resource is missing" in the middle of the VW dwg and then it keeps repeating it till the program shuts down, or chrashes etc. Usually the file is a big one with many sheets and when you spool a few of them, it happens with the last one. SOmetimes it happens even if you spool one sheet only. What's crazy about this is that maybe the next day, everything goes fine, same file. We restarted computers and plotters with no luck. VW 9.5 Architect Win 2000 Thanks for any help Quote Link to comment
Davide
I noticed that the problem happens when I have some layers/classes grayed-out, like in a roof plan that shows the walls below grayed. Quote Link to comment
Mickey
I had a similar problem awhile back. When I would print a file that had a grayed out layer sometimes I would crash the computer. After some time on the phone with tech support I figured out I had a corrupted layer. I deleted the layer and everything was fine. Not the best solution, but it worked. Good luck Quote Link to comment
Davide
Thanks Mickey. Which layer you had to delete? In my case the one that is grayed or the regular one on top of it? Quote Link to comment
