Mark Taylor Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 I see how to duplicate an array and set the offset of each duplicate. How do I fit a bunch of items within a region? For example, how would I fit the centers of 5 2x6 joists within a 61" span, without bothering to use a calculator to calculate the 15.25" offset? Quote Link to comment
michaelk Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Have you tried the Move by Points tool? Use the second mode (Distribute Mode). Click the Preferences... button and enter the number of duplicates. Then select the parent object, click on the Move by Points tool, click on the beginning and end of the area to receive the duplications.... hth mk Quote Link to comment
