Cadplan Architecture Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I put VWA+RW2009 on my Imac two weeks ago but I am experiencing a couple or so freezing sessions each day. I know it's Vectorworks as it doesn't happen in any other programme. I have used BVW for years but never experienced anything like this. Jim Smith Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Cadplan, Do the freezes happen when you do specific tasks or just randomly? Are the files newly created in VW2009 or are they older VW files? (VW12 perhaps) If older files how were they converted, Batch convert or just opened from VW2009? How much free disk space do you have? Do you have other apps open? Have you tried to reinstall VW? Cadplan Architecture Posted March 7, 2011 Author Share Posted March 7, 2011 Hi Jim, the freezes seem to be when attempting to move 2d objects and are indeed random. It's all in VWARW 2009, always a few apps open as normal, I have backed up my HDD to external disc now and have 32GB available at the moment. I am planniung to do a clean instal anyway so I'll see how things go. AJ Quote Link to comment
