Yoginathaswami
Aloha, anyone have any idea why my selection tool constantly behave as if I have the option key (PC=Alt) pressed? Everything I click and drag are being duplicated. I must have accidentally enabled a key or something. Tried different keyboards, different mouse and worked on different files, still no change, VW acts in the same was?as if Option Key is pressed. Option key behave as aspected in all other applications. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Duplication described not happening on my system. Maybe others see it? There was a thread with same problem earlier: http://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=150640&Searchpage=1&Main=30677&Words=%22bluetooth%22&Search=true#Post150640 Some ideas to try, but nothing resolved. If you solve it, please say how. -B Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Try restarting your Mac. I have seen a similar problem where VW acts like the Command Key is pressed all the time and all you see in the menus and dialog boxes is the shortcuts not the names. I think it is a bug in OS 10.6 and an interaction with VW, but I have not been able to come up with a repeatable case to buglist. Quote Link to comment
Yoginathaswami
Aloha, Pat: Thank you so much for the suggestion. Restarting my iMac resolved the option key issue! Good intuition! Quote Link to comment
MacAdam
Hello, I have the same issue on 2 mac's (MacPro en Imac) the 1st at home and 2nd at work. Not connected except with MobileMe. Restarting my mac solved the problem for about 5 minutes. It seems that it occurs especially when Vectorworks and Cinema 4D are used together. Hope anyone can help. mar schrammeyer
(It seems that it occurs especially when Vectorworks and Cinema 4D are used together.) If that is the case would unticking the prefs (Allow option-click in-place duplication) help Quote Link to comment
MacAdam
Maybe it did. I restored all VW prefs to standard, repaired permissions en rebooted my computer. Now everything seems to be okay. Lets hope it stays like this when i put my prefs (one by one) back the way I want them. Thanx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Update. I think this was a bug in Mac OSX 10.6.6 (and maybe 10.6.5). Since I upgraded to 10.6.7 I have not had a recurrence of this problem. Quote Link to comment
