James Russell
Wow, that's pretty cool! For all the visual learners out there, myself included, I'm more than a little bit interested. J Quote Link to comment
arg
This looks somewhat like Grasshopper for Rhino. Have any more info on it? Quote Link to comment
Guest Mark Flamer
This is a project I'm working on. Yes, very similar to Grasshopper for Rhino. The Idea is to provide the power and flexibility of VectorScript to the many users who don't have the time or interest in learning it. I'm trying to get an idea if this is something people would find usefull. I will post more video's and information soon. Quote Link to comment

Miguel Barrera
This graphical programming environment reminds me of Prograph which was developed for the Mac many years ago. You may want to take a look at this: Prograph CPX Tutorial Quote Link to comment

AFDesign
Do you plan to make your plugin capable of "parametric surface"? I mean like this http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/parametric-surface-03 or this http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/surface-design01islam-salem Your work could take vectorworks to a higher level of 3D! rDesign
I watched those three demo videos with my jaw wide open... simply amazing! This is something that I never dreamed would be possible in Vectorworks. Keep up the outstanding work! Regards, Tim Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Hey Mark, GS is causing quite excitement. In the past I was looking at a tool, GEM, by paracloud, to do the same kinds of things. http://paraclouding.com/GEM/ But, the interoperability was limited to DXF and I found the GEM interface a bit obtuse, at least considering I haven't had that much time to really dig in and play/test. Keep it up. I look forward to the end product. Just don't forget the IFC node ;-). Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted March 7, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 7, 2011 Incredible work Mark! You're definitely pushing Vectorscript to it's limits, IMO. It'll be interesting to see what you can do with this if/when you get it into the SDK. Best of luck on such a challenging endeavor. Quote Link to comment
Guest Mark Flamer
Thanks for the encouraging comments. Beginning the transition to the SDK has been by no means a trivial exercise, But with some excellent help from Vlado I'm starting to make some solid progress. This transition is going to set me back a bit but will be well worth it in the long run. Quote Link to comment
