List design layer in Space Worksheet

Recommended Posts

I am working on an apartment building. I have created spaces for each apartment and created a schedule, giving me apartment number, number of bedrooms, area and other information.... All working great!.

To add to the usefullness does anyone know if it is possible or how to list the name of the design layer in which the space appears.... I thought Space.designlayer... but that did not work.

Thanks

Pete

The response to my question seems to have been deleted... I have forgotten what the answer was and I need to do it again..

Try =L

That should return the name of the layer. That should return the layer of the object in the database.

Report results can be filtered by modifying the criteria:

- Select the Database header row (checkmark this display option to make them show).

- Right click and choose 'Edit Criteria'.

- Select 'Layer Is' and select your Layer Name from the third pop-up.

OK next part - I have created a user field called 'north' how do I get this to show on the schedule.

I tried 'space'.'north' and 'space'.'user1' but no luck

Thanks
