nikolauz
Hi, I am setting up my first worksheet inside a draw. The subject of my draw is a piping and my worksheet should resume the quantity of material in that way: Pipe Diameter Length Pipe and diameter are attributes, but length should be a property calculated. How can I create a calculated property to a schedule, please? Thank you, Nicola Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Nicola I assume you are using the Pipe Run command that converts objects from polygons? It will calculate the length. See attached.... hth mk Quote Link to comment
nikolauz
Hi, your attachment is not visible with my version 2010 sp4. Quote Link to comment
nikolauz
Hi, thank you for the file. I can see the sheet and the Pipeline Run object, but I cannot create or modify. I have vectorworks 2010 basic and think that this feature is in another version. Anyway now I know it exists. Maybe I can create a script to calculate what I need. Thank you Nicola Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I'm pretty sure there were no changes on this between 2010 and 2011. If you want to edit the pipe run, just double click on it and choose path. Is that not the pipe run you were talking about in your original question? mk Quote Link to comment
nikolauz
It's my basic version. Probably you have Designer. I cannot create the pipe run. I don't have it in my menus. nb Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Got it. Are you using Extrude Along Paths to create the pipes? Or simple polygons / polylines? mk Quote Link to comment
