John Windswept Design
Is there a way to have window and door labels show up in a viewport elevation? Even the size would be great as I have to manually put in the sizes now. The opening direction shows up why not the size. I have a feeling I'm just dreaming but I though I'd put it out there. john t Quote Link to comment
John Windswept Design
Every district I've worked with has required window sizes in elevation. It would be a huge time saver. Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
I agree -- it would save time if the doors' and windows' ID labels automatically appear on the exterior elevations. As it is, they have to be annotated individually on the viewports. I usually get by with a Window Schedule (providing sizes, model and quantity of each) on the elevation sheets. John Windswept Design
That's not a bad work around. Thanks Quote Link to comment
John Windswept Design
How do you get the window tags transferred from the plan to the elevations? Quote Link to comment
John Meunier
I use the window and doors as 3D symbols allowing me to insert extruded objects to get the desired look on my elevations.
