Lighting Device insertion makes rectangles unhappy

Recommended Posts

I have created a lighting device (I only care about the 2D for now). In the geometry of the symbol, there are some rectangles that got arrayed in a circle about the center of the symbol. When I insert the symbol as a lighting device, the rectangles un-rotate themselves, and they stretch to the outer dimension of the previously-rotate rectangle.

If I insert the symbols as a 2D Symbol, all is right with the world.

Anyone got any tips?

Bug maybe?

Hi Teresa

Were your rectangles arrayed using Duplicate Along Path by any chance? I have had a small issue with this recently (which is in hand with NV I believe). If this is the case, try arraying your rectangles using Duplicate Array first and see if that makes any difference. If they were not created with Duplicate Along Path,I'll have to think again and come up with a better suggestion!
