lineweight
Is it possible to rename your viewports after they have been set? If so, how? (I see I can rename Sheet Layers and Drawing Titles, but I cannot seem to be able to rename viewports). Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Select the VP [or right-click on the VP in the Nav Palette and choose Edit] In the OIP go to the data tab [or select the data tab in the Properties dialog box] The name of the viewport is in the first field. hth mk Quote Link to comment
lineweight
Wicked! Thank you, sir. I figured you should be able to, but the method seems a bit roundabout. Thanks again. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
the method seems a bit roundabout. Agreed! Even rounder-abouter: you can also double click the VP tab in the Nav Palette, select the VP, click Edit in the Organization dialog box to get to the Properties dialog box. Helpful if you want to rename a lot of viewports. mk Quote Link to comment
