ieb
I am quite new to VW. All of a sudden my 2D Selection tool has a +sign and I cannot just move but copy and move. Looked all over preferences but cannot find where I can reset the tool to simple moving my object around without copying. Help please. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Check to see if your Option key is stuck. (Might be the Alt key on a Windows machine.) Or perhaps you might have a bluetooth keyboard turned on in your briefcase with the option key being pressed. hth mk Quote Link to comment

mike m oz
leb try these: - Reset Vw's Preferences (button in bottom LH corner of Vw Preferences dialog box). - Quit all programs and then use Disk Utility to Verify and then repair all permissions. - Restart the computer. Quote Link to comment
MacAdam
Did you solve the problem? I have the same issue. It seems that it occurs especially when Vectorworks and Cinema 4D are used together. But I could be wrong... Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Based on information from several other sources, including one of the Adobe forums, this appears to be an Apple bug in 10.6.6. 10.6.7 has just been released that is supposed to fix this. I have not downloaded and install this yet, but will do so tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
