VW2011 locked up while exporting 2008 format?

While exporting a large Vectorworks 2011 file to v2008, the program froze up, spinning wheel and showing non responsive, so I force quit the app.

When I try to re-open the file it hangs up while trying to verify the file?

Help, I have several hours of work into this project, and the backup file is doing the same thing.

Any suggestions???

Using a 27" iMac 2.93 Quad i7, 16gb Ram, 1gb video card, VW 2011 SP2

Yes I did, and still the same issue.
