ptarmigan
I have a Mac and a colleague working remotely a PC. It wld be great if he could reference a layer in a drawing on my system. I have searched the forums for tips on this but haven't been successful. Firstly, is this possible without a huge investment in new software ? If answer yes to above, how do I set it up ? Dieter @ DWorks
You can workgroup reference the layer in his file, but you'll need a connection between your file and his file. Quote Link to comment
bcd
As Oyvind suggests, both sign up for a Dropbox.com account. Save you drawing in your Dropbox folder which lives on your machine with a mirror on the Dropbox server Your colleague opens a new file on his machine and creates a Design Layer Viewport referencing your file in the Dropbox and turns on only the layers of interest.
