VW12.5 line disappearing when you draw it...

So this is a bit of an odd one, we have someone here whose computer was running VW12.5 fine, then someone else used it and now when you go to draw a line using the line tool you can't see the line you're drawing... It feels like someone has hit a little known shortcut by mistake that makes the line you're drawing invisible...? I've been through the preferences to see if there are any obvious tick-boxes that would sort it out but can't see an obvious solution.

Computer is a new 27"imac, running OS 10.6, with VW 12.5.

That could be your problem. 12.5 isn't supported on 10.6 and gets flaky...

Make sure your line color isn't set to white. michaelk is correct, that version is not supported on 10.6.

I have once tried to accidentally draw in a class, that was set to invisible and got the same phenomenon. Perhaps that is the problem?

it happens if you work in the annotations of a viewport

with an active class that is set to be not visible

in that viewport...

i don't think it happens on a design layer...
