starling75
When I want to create roof which has constant perpendicular thickness and different slopes, the roof tool generates roof with incorrect ridge ... (The option for constant vertical roof thickness is in reality useless .. rafters have usually the same perpendicular height, thickness of roof insulation is constant etc... ) slope 1 slope 2 incorrect roof ridge Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
You are correct. In these cases I find it most useful to ungroup the roof object, which will give you a number of roof faces. The roof faces can then be tinkered with to achieve the desired result. Quote Link to comment

Is it the same in 2011? This should be submitted as a bug ... Intermediate product - TRY and DIY ... Edited November 29, 2010 by starling75 Quote Link to comment
Tobias
Yes, I noticed this the other day on VW2011. I would call it a bug Quote Link to comment
