Disappearing dashs

I have somehow managed to delete all the dash styles from an existing drawing.

If I relaunch VW all is OK, but as soon as I load this particular drawing, there are no dash styles available.

Is there any way to reload the dash styles? And how the heck did i do this?

I've always wondered why dash styles weren't treated like resources.

There's probably a "real" way to do this, but this will work:

Open a blank document that has all the dash styles you expect.

Draw a line or rectangle or whatever using one of the dash styles.

Copy it.

Go to the document missing the dash style. Paste.

Rinse & Repeat

OK, it seems like that should work, but I'm really wondering how I could have deleted all the dash styles.

And yes, I agree, there must be a simple, more elegant way to restore this.
