Mickey Posted January 24, 2002 Share Posted January 24, 2002 When I grab a symbol out of the object browser and attempt to insert it into the drawing i get "The selected object in not a 2D symbol" Well that's just not the case. These are the same symbols I have been using all along. I have never seen this error until today. The only way I can get this to go away is to close the program and restart it. It doesn't happen everytime or with any certain symbol. I'll be working along then oops the error pops up. This is very frustrating since inserting symbols is most of what I do. TiTaNiuM sAMuRai Posted January 28, 2002 Share Posted January 28, 2002 I've had that happen once or twice, but I don't remember if I was using 8.5.2 or 9.5.0. As with other corruptions, I just restarted the program. If you're using OS9.x or Win9x, did VW take a while to close (lots of HDD activity)? If so, it's just a memory problem with the OS writing to where it shouldn't be. Quote Link to comment
