I have a 3D drawing I am trying to export to AutoCAD. I have VW2010 and 2009 installed on my mac. A colleague has VW2008 installed on his PC.
When I export from 2010, the whole application crashes. The crash comes consistently during the "Writing blocks" part of the process when the progress meter is on about "60 out of 1908 Objects Converted".
When I save down to VW 2009 or VW 2008, and I try to export from there, the export window only attempts to export about 34 objects (as opposed to the 1908 that are actually in the drawing). It gets through the process and pumps out a DWG successfully, but it's a tiny little file and when I open it, the only geometry in it are things that are not in groups or symbols.
How do I fix this? I need to get this file into AutoCAD asap, but between these 3 recent versions of VW, none of them can seem to handle it.
