Bob Holtzmann
My first reaction to this is -- Great! A better ergonomic mouse! It operates with the hand palm-up, eliminating stress on the "superficial branch of the radial nerve" of the arm. But then I realized that it's not really a mouse, but a cursor/view positioner. No clicker. So the user is still left using his more stressful mouse in the other hand. Edited November 6, 2010 by Bob-H Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
Further on, I think it would be great if this 3D cursor tool could split up the click?drag operation, so that the mouse/trackpad could do the click, while the 3D cursor would do the drag. As a result, nerve stress could be avoided. I just tried this out with the trackpad button (left hand), and using the mouse for drag only (right hand), and it works! I may just use this method from now on. This gives cause to generally re-think click-drag as a two-handed operation, for health reasons. Edited November 7, 2010 by Bob-H Quote Link to comment
