VincentCuclair
Anyone know if it is possible to merge several layers to one? Quote Link to comment
bcd
In the OIP you can see an object's layer. Change the drop down to your common layer. You can select all first and do this for all selected objects. If Layer View Options is set to Snap/View/Modify Others it will work for objects on all visible layers. If your layers are a different scales you might get unexpected results. Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
In the OIP So obvious, thanks Brian. (I reserve the right to ask simple questions once in a while....) If your layers are a different scales you might get unexpected results. or expected depending on how you look at it. Edited November 4, 2010 by Vincent C Quote Link to comment
bcd
True-, expecting the unexpected Merging objects in various Classes can be done in the same way - and additionally if you try and delete a class in the Organization window you will have the option to reassign objects to a new class first.
