BruceL
On occasion I need to look at Vectorworks 2010 files on an older machine that only has version 10. The export in 2010 only allows to go back to version 12. Is there no way to do this? Thanks, Bruce Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
VW will only export to three previous versions, so you would need to export VW 12 or VW 2008, then export to VW 10 from those versions. Quote Link to comment
BruceL
Thanks. As I suspected. I don't think I have an in between version around. Is it possible to export in vectorscript? I guess I could always try DXF. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Bruce if you only need to look at the files on the older machine then use PDFs. Vectorworks has changed substantially over the last few versions with new capabilities added. Exporting that far back is not without risk. Quote Link to comment
Horst M.
VW 2009 exports down to Version 10. If you like I can convert it for you, ....if the File is in a transportable size. I've a Powerbook Titanum arround with Version 12. I've recently just for fun started V12. I almost couldn't operate the Porgramm. The workflow of VW has (mercifully) seriously changed since that time! Edited October 5, 2010 by Horst M. Quote Link to comment
