Export to Adobe After Effects

There has to be a way to get 3D models into after effects? Any ideas? I have played with exporting to Blender 3D then using plugins to export that to After Effects but I have to animated to object and export a certain number of frames.... no good, I want to have 3D information that I can fly around and light. Any ideas?

Look at this 11 year old post! The only thread on here mentioning After Effects and export! woof

To get 3D into VWX, you can use something like Cinema 4D / Lite

You can import the .obj into a plugin like Video CoPilot's Element 3D or Red Giant Mir / Tao.

It doesn't recognize pen lines or the .mtl side car unfortunately so you lose all your texturing.
