contours and DTM

Is there a significant upgrade in DTM and contour modeling going from 12.5 Landmark to 2010 Landmark? Does Vectorworks offer videos or other info other than in the User's guide to help with use of this function. My contours leave a lot to be desired and I am hoping it is just that I do not know what I am doing.

don, from what i have heard there has not been that much change in this module. I am hoping that 2011 will address this, but im not holding my hopes up. our office is still on 2008 as we have not seen any major improvements which would benefit our office enough to warrant an upgrade, but we will be going ahead with 2011 regardless in order to keep up with the pack, so to speak

Actually, there have been a lot of changes and improvements made to the DTM, and the tools to manipulate it, from Vectorworks 2008 through Vectorworks 2010 SP4.

No better time than the present to upgrade and get up to speed before 2011.

I am looking for resources that demonstrate the use of the pads and fences. I have not been able to generate accurate contours and I am guessing I am doing something wrong. Are there any written or video resources??
