Translating/converting older formats

What is the easiest way to translate MiniCAD 4-5 format documents to VectorWorks running on MacOS Snow Leopard?

I have VWArchitect 12.5.3 and 2010. I believe the earliest format either can translate is MiniCAD 7.

I have earlier versions of VectorWorks that could open MiniCAD 4-5, but I assume they won't run on Snow Leopard.

Perhaps find a copy of MiniCad 7 or if you still have Minicad 4 export the files to MiniCad 3 and using the converter here:

http://www.nemetschek.net/downloads/minicad/index.php - the files are supposedly then available to any version of VW.

There may be a similar converter for MC4 but I don't see it listed.

I believe you can send the file VW tech. support to have it converted to your desired version. I remembered reading one of moderator's comment a while ago.
