jeremyb
I have just invested in an iMac and am running VW2010 with SP4.I have beset by constant crashing this morning, which seems to be happening mainly when I edit plant 2D attributes. I thought macs were meant to be stable?! Quote Link to comment
WhoCanDo
Not to create a huge argument about Mac v PC but I've never know a stable Mac. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Right ... crashes only happen on Mac. ok this is the stuff my machien tells me about it... HP xw4600 workstation Intel?Core? 2 Duo CPU E6550 @2.33GHz 2.33 GHz 2GB RAM I can edit plants in a new file and then use them in that file so I think the problem might be just related to that file. Its not a long drawn out crash, just an instant close of the program when it happens. _________________________ Windows XP, Vectorworks 2008 Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Try running disk utilities and repair permissions. You should also check if your video drivers are up to date. Quote Link to comment
WhoCanDo
I didn't say that PC's don't crash islandmon, just that Macs are not stable. However you are correct about the file. I have had files that incur errors and will not behave themselves. Cutting and pasting the drawing to another drawing usually solves the problem. Quote Link to comment
