doug shaffer
Howdy - VW Architect 2009-Mac I have a conundrum that might be hard to describe, but here goes. I have created a VW file with numerous design layers. One contains interior elevations, and another contains a Building Section. I have made Design Layer Viewports of the interior elevations and placed them in the Building Section. In order to do this, I had to reposition the individual viewports so they aligned with the Building Section properly. This works very well - no problems. For various reasons that I won't go into, we like to create separate files for our drawing sheets (with dimensions, notes, sheet borders, etc.). But when I create a design layer and then create a viewport that references the Building Section design layer in the other file, the Interior Elevations are not aligned properly with the Building Section information. The Interior elevations show up, just in the wrong place. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any ideas about this. Perhaps it's not possible. Thanks - Quote Link to comment

doug shaffer
All layers are at the same Z level. Any other thoughts? Also, do you think what I'm doing should be possible? Thanks - Quote Link to comment
