QfanatiQ
we have tried several times. if the original file has a reference in it, it crashes. Even when we permenatly add the reference to file. When the reference is not in, we get a warning it is cancelled and crashes. When the reference is attached (and no longer referenced) no warning, VW just shuts down Any further suggestions? 0 QfanatiQ
I am not IT literate with apple macs. How do i go about finding this info- tried looking before? Ask IT support and they say its an apple, what more do you need to know! Have Vw2010 but due to stability issues since having it office, we are all still using 2008 in most cases. 0 Ray Libby
Tell them you need to know so we can troubleshoot why you are having stability problems. You also haven't told me what updates you have for VW 2010. Quote Link to comment

0 Ray Libby
Look at the upper right of the page for a link to updates - VW Community Links. Quote Link to comment
0 QfanatiQ
Thanks, do you know how i find what i already have in VW, i do not have admin ability to install anything, updates included. I am sure this would be fully up to date. But not sure. Windows (not that i know VW on a win PC) normally has ABOUT under help, there it tells you. Apple does not have anything similar. Thanks for your continued help i hand holding me through this. J Quote Link to comment
0 Ray Libby
You should not be crashing. Not having admin status your IT guys need to help. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
The About is under the Apple Menu at the upper left of the screen instead of under Help as on Windows. You will get the About for the entire computer. If you want the About for an individual program, bring that program to the front and there will be an About under the programs name in the menu bar.
