VS to set active class?

Is there a way to use VS to set the active class?

I use the None and Guides classes frequently and would love to have scripts that change the active class to one of those. I'd add the script to my right-click menu to make it easier to set the active class.

I have scripts that change the class of an object but I can't find anything that sets the active class for the open document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NameClass('Class Name Here');

so the script would be:

NameClass('None');

and

NameClass('Guides');
