Don Chin
When placing image props from the VW library, the box around the image is always visible in my renderings. I am sure there is a simple answer to this question. Thanks Donald Quote Link to comment
Don Chin
here is a sample of a drawing with image prop "borders" showing up - tried all the different option settings but no luck. Donald Quote Link to comment
Danielj1
What rendering method are you using? Dan J. Quote Link to comment
JSiegel
Don, I tried to create the situation you describe & the lines do not appear in Open GL, Fast RW, CRW, FQRW. So maybe try the settings from my attached file. Also, as I am new to image props, how do I get a single image, scaled correctly (Camry) as you had in your PDF? TY J Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Donald, I think you'll find the boxes are created because the Draw Edges option is turned on for OpenGL rendering. If you are looking for objects with outlines in a Sheet Layer Viewport, try using OpenGL with Draw Edges turned off for your Background Render and Hidden Line for your Foreground Render. I've attached an image as an example. The Draw Edges option can be turned off for a Viewport by clicking the Background Render Settings button in the Object Info Palette while a Viewport is selected. If you are working in a design layer, it can be turned off in the menus under View>Rendering>OpenGL Options Hope this helps, Kevin Quote Link to comment
Don Chin
Thanks for all the tips guys - as is the case usually it is a setting button. The car (Silver Range Rover) is actually a 3-d symbol from the library Quote Link to comment
