petensen Posted June 8, 2010 Author Share Posted June 8, 2010 Don't worry, I figured it out. Just export as DWG then import back into the document. It comes in as a symbol containing stroke as a polyline and fill (hatch) as a group. Quote Link to comment

If you also want to retain the original Space object copy the Space Objects, use Paste in Place and then Convert to a Group. Why do you want to get back to the original polygon? Quote Link to comment
