MBMD
In VW 2010 is there a way to convert a basic 5" wide wall with no fill into two lines without deleting doors and windows. When I ungroup the wall it makes a centerline and a filled polyline. I don't want either of these to appear. I just want the two basic lines. Is that possible? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Almost... -Select the walls. -Ungroup. Lines, polygons, doors, windows remain selected. -Shift click on the doors and windows to deselect them and leave the ungrouped geometry selected. -Modify>Convert>Convert to Lines (hidden line rendering). -On my machine this leaves the (invisible) center lines w/ a pen weight of none. -Use the Select Similar Tool w/ the preferences set to all the Pen Attributes options and delete the invisible center lines. hth Quote Link to comment
bcd
Or try the polygon tool: 8 > From inner boundary mode> click within the space From outer boundary mode> Encircle the walls Select both polygons > Clip Surface, Delete. Edited May 11, 2010 by bcd Quote Link to comment
