Z Height with Referenced Layers

Recommended Posts

I am using VW2010. I have referenced layers from other drawings. The other drawings were all 2D only. Now that I am getting a good 2D drawing of the floor plan I am working on I want to make some 3D aspects of it. I have one layer that the 3d that when I look at it from the front in its native file the 0 for the z height is way lower then the the geometry. I have 3d symbols that say they are at 0 but they are at 240' or so on the ruler.

Then I look at the reference file with the multiple layers that I know is correct. It looks correct except that layer is about 900' under the 0 of where it wants to be. Anyone else ever have problems like this or have any thoughts on it?

Matt
