Help! Can't open Vectoworks 2010 either

Hi plaease help.

Ive just got my software in the post today and am very excited. But it wont open!

Ive read through other similar threads. I've installed it twice already, have uninstalled my exisiting Quicktime as it was a slightly more recent version and installed the one on the DVD. What else?

Question I have VW 11.5 on the PC still - will that affect VW2010? Ive tried to uninstall the older version but it's being blocked by a message 'Could not open INSTALL/LOG file'

Please create a signature with your version of Vectorworks including updates and Computer specs including OS. Click on the My Stuff link at the top, Edit Profile.

You don't need to uninstall older version, the rest of troubleshooting depends on your OS.

Try switching to a new user and install from there. If you don't already have another user create one.

Hi I just tried to open it again and it worked. So maybe on Monday when I tried to load it, I needed to shut down my computer completely after (I did reboot it at the time). Thanks for your help anyway.
