Uli Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 Hi, Can I use the 3d xfrog plants (i.e front view) only if I have Renderworks? I tried to select the objects (in any view mode I get only lines?) and export them to Cinema 4d but I get the message no objects exported. Does anybody work with 3d plants without having renderworks? monkey Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) i dont think so, i would suggest designing in 3D in VW and then exporting to C4D and putting your plants and trees in with that bit of software, the trees you can use in C4D are far superior, try downloading a few from turbosquid. you should then be able to put on textures onto everything else in C4D as well renderworks is good for quick easy rendering, but if you want high quality presentation stuff then in my opinion a separate renderer is required Edited April 21, 2010 by monkey Quote Link to comment
