nlBabcock
When I import a .pdf file into my vectorworks file it comes in with everything grayed out. This did not happen before I updated to SP5. Any ideas?? I can import the file as a .jpg image and it will come in normal, but the quality is no where near as good. Any help would be wonderful! Thanks, Nicole Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Does the same thing happen with other PDFs or is it a problem with just that PDF? Quote Link to comment
nlBabcock
Any PDF that I import. It can be an image or text. They all come in gray. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Can you post an example. (To attach a file use Reply and the File Manager link under Post Options) Quote Link to comment
nlBabcock
I have attached the file that I have been working in. I cleared out all other information to get the file size down and just have two PDF examples. It seems to only be happening in a file that I have been working in for months. I created a new file and imported the PDFs and they came in fine. Weird... Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Could you post the original PDF? Quote Link to comment
nlBabcock
Again, thank you for the help! I have attached the two PDF files that I have been working with. And like I said they seem to import fine into a new document, but import gray in an existing file that I have been working on for some time. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
In your Vectorworks document, select one of the PDFs, the click on the Opacity button in the Attributes palette. In the Set Opacity dialog box uncheck Use Class Opacity. I'm not sure why this is happening, maybe someone else knows. Quote Link to comment
